A recent trial occured where some individuals owned land on the end of a street, about enough for a small home. They have owned and paid taxes for this plot of land for about 20 years, and yet some nearby individuals had been using this land for their barbeques and gatherings. When the owners chose to build a greenhouse or some other property, not exactly sure, the people trespassing on the property took the owners to court, as they felt that the property was more theirs than the owners because they had used it more. Keep in mind the owners had paid tax for the land the entire 20 years. The end ruling, the trespassers were granted something like 1/3 of the plot of land.
What's the deal with cases like this?
Apparently the judge had some similar occurence happen to them, which created their bias feelings towards the trespassers...
Please post thoughts or other unfair court trials.
